Any advise on skin problems ladies?

I'm in my twenties and for the last month or so I seem to be getting breakouts. I had perfect skin before and now it just seems to flare up every week or so. I also have small lumps underneath my skin that makes my skin look uneven, especially with make-up. I went to a beauticians for advice about the lumps and she gave me a facial and sold me some guinot products that she recommended. This was about 4wks ago and since then I've got the breakouts. Any other suggestions?Any advise on skin problems ladies?
Is there something that you are using that you havent used before? Sometimes when you try something new it tends to break the skin out. It takes the skin 2 weeks to get used to a new product.

if that's not the case then you need to go and see a dermatoligst and they can help you from there.Any advise on skin problems ladies?
its possibly hormonal??? If not, consult a dermatologist pronto!
Hi

I am the same as you! I went off the pill and then my skin went all horriable and red etc.

So i am back on Dianette and taking oil of evening primrose oil, along with vitamin e tabs.

Dont worry everyone has it ... it will go, you just need to find out the cause etc
When I went to a doctor about all the spots that I had for years he told me that he would not give me anything for them but I was to use a flannel when washing as they dig down deeper to get any dirt out. I never use any moisturiser as its greasy.

I rarely have any spots now
have you done a pregnancy test? it may sound silly, but your hormones go all over the place and it's quite common.

if it's not that then regularly cleanse your skin and you should see an improvement.

Mean while if you want to cover the breakouts try an YSL foundation, they are fantastic and stay on all day. They are available at most Debenhams stores.
Have you ever considered the possibility that you might be pregnant? Some women get break out of spots and it dont go away till the baby born.

Or

You got a bad skin problem, so i say go and see the qwack. (doctor)

goodluck x i hope it gets better, having spots can really bring down your confidence, but dont let it, they only spots and i am sure they will sort themselves out soon enough girl.
You should visit your doctor, and if ity is acne maybe you need to drink more water.
Quit using the products and see a dermatologist. I wouldn't venture any guesses as I'm not a professional.

It wouldn't hurt to try a soap such as Ivory [it worked for our grandmothers and they had beautiful skin] and IF you need it, a water based noncomedogenic moisturizer.

I am 70, and my skin is better than some forty year olds.
No. Ha!
advices are on this website:

http://www.beautytipsonline.com/makeup.h鈥?/a>
Try mineral makeup.

puritycosmetics.co.uk is a good brand.
so i hate to sound like a comercial but i SWEAR by proactive!!

it is a bit pricy but i love it and have been using it for years. i have real sensitive skin and breakout easily if i dont keep up with my skin routine. lack of water and old make-up also can contribute.

hope this helped!
If i were you, id go to your doctor and explain what keeps happening, they'll help you sort them out..
Could be a late onset acne. You should visit your doctor

for advice.

Have you been very stressed or tired lately as that can cause

breakouts.

If you are a smoker, how do you advise your kids not to smoke?

The only way to advise your kids not to smoke would be to stop smoking yourself. Lead by example!!!!! You cannot tell someone to not do something, when you yourself are doing it.If you are a smoker, how do you advise your kids not to smoke?
I was the child of a smoker and he said it was bad for me, but when he caught me doing it too, he said he couldn't punish me for something he did too. So when I had kids, I quit smoking. I didn't want to be a hypocrite. That is one of the things that keeps me smoke free. How can I tell them not to do it because it's why they don't have a grandpa (yes my father died of lung cancer 5 years ago) and then light up in front of them. To me it would be a cruel thing to do to them.If you are a smoker, how do you advise your kids not to smoke?
I didn't smoke in the house or around my children. I taught them that many things that are harmful and that they have a choice to make every time they do something. Driving a car in an irresponsible matter. Drinking too much. Overeating, stealing, not respecting others. Not too much I could do to force them to do anything, just try and teach them to make good decisions for themselves. One of my children chooses to smoke, one chooses not to, they are both responsible adults. I enjoy smoking, some people enjoy racing cars, climbing mountains, sky diving, and other dangerous activities.

COME ON PEOPLE... The are a lot of things parents can do that the children can't....are you gonna stop having sex with your spouse because you don't want your 12 year old having sex?...We earn the right to make our own decisions at 18 yo until then our parent make the rules for us.
I'm NOT A SMOKER- *gross*

But when a parent smokes most likely the kids will too. So sad.

Parents need to choose their kids over a stupid cigarette!
Very carefully, because you don't want to be a hyprocite but you can explain all the health problems that it has brought you and how weak you are to quit, but ultimately it will be their choice to go through it on their own, or just watch more carefully what it has done to someone they love.
It is difficult to explain the symptoms of addiction to an adult. I would keep it simple and say '; SMOKE AND DIE ';!!!!
I have told them that I'm trying to cut back and I never smoke around my kids. I explain to them that it's a nasty addiction that I wish I had never started.
Forget it. That persons actions would be speaking so loudly that they could not hear a word that was said............
I would say, ';Hey kids look at me, my breath stinks and my teeth are yellow and nasty, and eventually my doctor will find a small growth in my lungs that will require me to have Chemo for weeks on end... but the upside is I'll make sure I'll leave a juicy life insurance policy out on myself when I'm dead.';

I hate to give you all this sarcasm; but in all honestly you gotta tell them to not travel down the road you've traveled. Tell them all the negative things that has happened to you due to your smoking, they'll understand.
STOP SMOKING YOURSELF. THEN EXPLAIN TO THEM HOW HARD IT IS TO STOP. IF YOU REALLY WANT YOUR KIDS TO STOP SMOKING YOU HAVE TO STOP YOURSELF FIRST CAUSE WHEN THEY YOU DOING IT THEY WILL JUST KEEP ON DOING IT AND WHEN YOU TRY TO CALL THEM OUT THEY WILL JUST THINK YOU ARE HYPROCRITICAL. IF YOU REALLY LOVE YOUR CHILDREN YOU WILL STOP FOR THEM CAUSE U KNOW THEY HARM SMOKING CAN DO. IF YOU TELL THEM THAT SMOKING IS BAD AND YOU ARE DOING IT YOURSELF THEY THINK IT IS OKAY

WHEN I WAS YOUNGER MY MOM SMOKED AND TRYED TO TELL ME SMOKING WAS BAD. iT JUST MADE ME FEEL LIKE THAT SMOKING CANNOT BE THA BAD IF SHE IS DOING IT. NOW I AM A 19 YEAR OLD SMOKER ADDICT AND I AM TRYING MY BEST TO STOP.
QUIT SMOKING and be a good example to them....it's your JOB as a PARENT. Talk to them about WHY you gave up something you liked, but was not GOOD FOR YOU....Let them know that you CARE ENOUGH ABOUT YOURSELF to do something that is hard for you, because it is preserving your health, you smell much better, the house will smell better, you won't be polluting everyone else's lungs in the house and car and you will finally have money to take the kids to the show, instead of spending it on cigarettes......that should get the message across. Good Luck and God Bless...
Let them watch you die from it?
You stop being a hypocrite, put the smokes down, and tell them it was the best decision of your life. Plain and simple.

I plan to have 3p with gf, please advise me on the implication?

i think you mean a threesome, okay firstly think hard and long, alot can go wrong, she could get to like the other person more, or you could get to like the other person more.

it is a big thing in a relationship, think through before you go ahead, be careful you cou8ld lose your relationship.I plan to have 3p with gf, please advise me on the implication?
If you mean a 3some then that all depends on you and your gf.

Personally I wouldn't with a gf because I can't see it lasting long between you after that.

If no one is romantically attached though, then thats different!!!

If it's you and another guy with her, are you happy for him to do her. And likewise if it was you and another girl. Would your gf be happy at you doing another girl.

The fact you're asking suggests you haven't really discussed it with your gf. I'd start with that first.

(3P - meaning for Threesome, GOOGLE it!!!)

think he posted this in wrong section lmaoI plan to have 3p with gf, please advise me on the implication?
You plan to have three pence with your girlfriend?

Big ambitions you got there.

You hang in there, you'll get it eventually.

Can't see any implications, unless you accidentally get 5 pence with your girlfriend, when you are only wanting 3 pence.

Oh yeah... Another implication could be that

THREE PENCE IS GOOD FOR NOTHING FOOL
ha ha ha first one to figure out what he means with 3p

3p = TRIP folks!

Anyway, well, if you're both adults, then that's fine. You just need to carefully plan it (financially foremost). Are you the one who suggested for the trip or her?

You should give more details about your question.
3p???
3p?
Can we have that in English please.
or you could add 97p - then you would have a whole pound to spend.
the implication looks bad if you don't spell out what a 3p is...
What are you talking about?
Three pence?
what's a 3p??
...hah????
what the heck???

Can you give me some ideas, how to advise brad?

here the questions.

brad enters a convenient store, takes a basket provided by the store and fills it up with various items from the shelves. He is about to bring the basket to the cashier's counter when he realizes that he has left his wallet at home.Pretending as if nothing happened,he started to walk down the rows of shelves and put back the goods on the shelves.Whilst doing so,Felix, the store supervisor stops him, saying that he has bought those goods and therefore must pay for themCan you give me some ideas, how to advise brad?
He has not bought the good until he pays for them. He has not tendered them for payment so they remain the storekeeper's property, whether he likes it or not.

Whether he returns them to the original location he took them from is irrelevant, provided he has not damaged them. Can you give me some ideas, how to advise brad?
This is a dream that Brad is in.

Pls advise, I have a hairfall problem. What i'm goin' to do?

My hair keep falling more than the normal. I tried hairfall solution shampoo and also conditioner, but it doesn't help.Pls advise, I have a hairfall problem. What i'm goin' to do?
if your hair falls out in clumps - get your rear to a doctor now!

if you lose heaps of hair but not in clumps - don't dispare, it's a natural process that happens approx every 11 years of your life, your body gets rid of all the old hair and grows new hair.

if it happens all the time - like myself, don't worry no matter what shampoo and conditioner you use it wont help. it happens but will eventually stop being so much but it does take what seems like forever. you naturally lose about 100 hairs per day. mine is thick and long so i notice it more than anyonePls advise, I have a hairfall problem. What i'm goin' to do?
You probably have some sort of vitamin deficiency. Try your doctor or a naturapath.

Btw: Good observation N_N about the category. I can't see it but I suspect you are wearing a hat of some description. If not, you should try one.
(( Isnt this the Men's health section?)

It is nothing to sweat about, as stated above its natural. But if your really concerned make an appointment with your doctor and he/she would be happy to discuss.

I have a 1985 toyota pickup, i need advise for a cheap lift?

everyone else swears on 63'; chevy leafsI have a 1985 toyota pickup, i need advise for a cheap lift?
Go buy a Huffy bike from Walmart -- there's your cheap lift!

No gas required - just muscle power!I have a 1985 toyota pickup, i need advise for a cheap lift?
Depends what you're looking to do. If it's going to be driven on-road: Don't ';monkey around'; with your suspension. If you snap a spring or mount you may kill yourself and other people when you lose control of your truck and go flying above the interstate.

The best way to go is with new springs and shocks. So long as you keep it under 4'; you should be able to get away without doing anything too major, maybe steering drag link.

Go with one of the ';proven'; kits out there. Look at the kits from Northwest Off Road or Downey off-road. Rancho, superlift, skyjacker are okay...not Toyota specialists like NW or Downey tho.

You CAN use shackles in the rear (I wouldn't recommend shackles in front on ANY truck). If the ';basic'; kit costs too much then I'd suggest a body lift instead.

Good luck!
Here in calif we have alot of mini trucks...Some guys use the chevy or ford truck springs...The only bad thing about that is you are trusting a junkyard part on your truck...I just helped a friend of mine build a 81 trekker...Sure he spent alot of money...But he knows what he,s got...He won,t have any failures or have to carry around extra junk yard leaf springs...SAve your money!!!Do it once and do it right!!!I,ve been 4 wheeling for more than 25 years..I,ve seen alot of crazy stuff...TRy welding a steering box back to the frame with two batteries at 2 a.m...It,s not fun!!!Marlin Crawler has everything you need!!!!www.marlincrawler.com
i made my lift out of angle iron. i cut it and welded it together to make a square tube then drilled the holes needed to install it and just had a few dollars in it.
There are a lot of inexpensive kits for the '85. It's much cheaper and easier to lift than the '86 and newer. A lot of kits include new front leaf springs and blocks or add-a-leaves in the back for $200-350. You could also do a body lift. It costs less, but is more work.

With the 63'; Chevy springs, you have to relocate your spring mounts, so that means some cutting and welding. A lot of people have good luck with them and it does give you a lot of flex.

I really like the Old Man Emu suspension components. Their springs and shocks are designed for ride quality and control. A lot of lift springs are very stiff but OME's are nice and soft. They cost a little more but the improvement in ride quality is great!

  • I have been offered a 1994 BMW R80 RT- can anyone please give any advise?

    Bike has 80K miles.

Owner looking for approx 鈧?,500 (euro).

    Are these bikes reliable?

Are they suitable for commuting in traffic?

Any help greatly appreciated.I have been offered a 1994 BMW R80 RT- can anyone please give any advise?
Sounds like a honey, I'd go for it! Everything said here I agree with, you won't regret it, nice all-around, all purpose bike, commuting, day trips, long vacations, it's like the motorcycle equivelant of a Swiss Army knife, does it all and does it all very well. VERY dependable motor, it's what made BMW, as a company, what it is today.I have been offered a 1994 BMW R80 RT- can anyone please give any advise?
you act like someone offered you the clap its a great reliable classicly german engineerd machine that has a million more miles left in it if you like it buy it youve got nothing to fear as bimmer owners generaly take great care of thier bikes. If I had the income Id own one myself .
My current ride is a 93 K750 rt and it is the one of the best bikes I have ever owned.

Keep it serviced and maintain the oils and you will have a top bike for years to come.

3500 seems steep, i paid $4500 Australian for mine .

Communting is fine and very economical as well as on the open road.

You couldnt go wrong with this bike.
BMRs are great bikes. That's high mileage, but you can get a lot more on it with propper servicing. Does the owner have service records?

This is an ideal reliable commuter/ tourer. I'd offer a little less, but in good repair with service records, it's worth it.

Hi ya, i am looking for some advise 'being run down when pregnant' i developed cold sores I neva get them and?

now it hurts down there, me and my partner had sex and i was in terrible pain like stinging and it burnt while i wee'd but only for an hour after, still sore down there. Could i have coldsores down there, i mentioned this to my midwife at my 11 week check last week and she said i mite not be able to have a natural birth because of it. Anyone else been in this position??Hi ya, i am looking for some advise 'being run down when pregnant' i developed cold sores I neva get them and?
    Hiya Hon

If you have cold sores down below, the term is genitall herpes, they are part of the same group as cold soress. Genital Herpes is an STI, which can be caught say if you had cold sores on your lips and gave your boyfriend oral and then slept with him. Just an example there.

Now the best thing to do is to go to your doctors, they will book it in as urgent if you tell them you are also pregnant.

They can then do a swab to find out, it not then go to your local gum clinic or walkingn centre. They can tell you all you need to know but please don't worry as you don't know this is defiantly it.

So just go to the doctors and find out for sure as don't want to scare you with any more info just incase its nothing ok. Good Luck XxXxHi ya, i am looking for some advise 'being run down when pregnant' i developed cold sores I neva get them and?
If you have noticed sores on your genitals, then sorry, you have herpes.

But if you just think you have sores, then most likely it's a UTI or yeast infection.
if it burns whilst you wee then may be you should see a doctor and see if you have a uti, i am sure that it is treatable.. you should be able to have a natural birth..

talk to your doc and see what they say

    good luck

Curiosity. A need to know. A need to figure things out for one's self. It is a need to stop believing what others tell you. You do not have to have faith in anything to have a need to really see the world through your own eyes, your own interpretation. Same with an education. Remember, Einstein was considered stupid as a young man. Curiosity made him a great man, and a great thinker. And another thing, you won't find any great thinker following Al Gore, or George Bush, or any other know it all.
Do you believe in destiny or is life's situations but a randomization? This is a precept to providing an answer to this question.
Ricky Bobby isn't a thinker, Ricky Bobby is a driver.
An internal drive for knowledge. It can only be fostered so much by education. And can be hindered by Faith. I'm not saying that one should not have faith, but should definitely always be questioning his/her beliefs.
    Education ,and more important wisdom
I think it's a gift from God to every individual. Men are born equal but this depends on which talents they develop well through education. Environment too is a factor of this development.

So in your question, ';what causes one to become ';a great thinker'; When a child is born, he/she doesn't have faith, this is developed through education and is nurtured by their environment.
both religion and education promote the acceptance of how others think.... a great thinker is made by going through life learning from life's experience... without either religion or education to inhibit your action, your behavior, your thoughts, without religion making you afraid of trying something THEY say you can't... We learn from our experience, and it's experience that make great thinkers...
High degree of intelligence, great deal of common sense, sharp logic and reasoning, and endless passion for knowledge.

A great thinker might happen to have faith. But faith does not make a great thinker. In fact in many cases faith shuts down logic and reasoning.
anyone can be that, u just have to have knowledge of wisdom, use what u got and use what u learn, and also try to mediate that help u to find your inner true gift
The sorrow, despair and regret in the aged, old people.

'Maslow felt that unfulfilled needs lower on the ladder would inhibit the person from climbing to the next step. Someone dying of thirst quickly forgets their thirst when they have no oxygen, as he pointed out. People who dealt in managing the higher needs were what he called self-actualizing people. Benedict and Wertheimer were Maslow's models of self-actualization, from which he generalized that, among other characteristics, self-actualizing people tend to focus on problems outside of themselves, have a clear sense of what is true and what is phony, are spontaneous and creative, and are not bound too strictly by social conventions.

Peak experiences are profound moments of love, understanding, happiness, or rapture, when a person feels more whole, alive, self-sufficient and yet a part of the world, more aware of truth, justice, harmony, goodness, and so on. Self-actualizing people have many such peak experiences.'

Socrates returned from the oracle of Delphi wondering how and why he was to be the wisest.

'Socrates frequently says that his ideas are not his own, but his teachers'. He mentions several influences: Prodicus the rhetor and Anaxagoras the scientist. Perhaps surprisingly, Socrates claims to have been deeply influenced by two women besides his mother. He says that Diotima, a witch and priestess from Mantinea taught him all he knows about eros, or love, and that Aspasia, the mistress of Pericles, taught him the art of funeral orations.'

    Desire to change variables.
Thinkers like myself are simply born with the apparent ability to ponder the world around them as if analyzing a movie or script. They have the desire to learn about things that have no effect on them. Being a thinker is a hard way to live and most thinkers feel disconnected, and suffer from paranoia.
INTEREST IN THE QUEST FOR TRUTH! no great people decide their lives themselves another fact is astrology and that everything is decided before an individual is born and his destination is fixed ACCORDING TO INTERNAL FAITH everything rests inside the individual aACCORDING TO UNIVERSAL TRUTH everything is decided before

I had an ';oops'; with my hubby last night and he wants me to take the morning after pill and I don't. Advise?

We are planning on trying later in the year, however, we were hoping to catch up on some bills, etc. I personally would like to just see what happens but he is firm that he wants to try in the fall....I had an ';oops'; with my hubby last night and he wants me to take the morning after pill and I don't. Advise?
Why are you married to someone that would kill his own baby for the sake of paying some extra bills?

God almighty woman, think about it a minute. Is 8 months really going to make that big of a difference? Why cant you pay the bills while you're pregnant?

Guh. People like your husband make me sick.I had an ';oops'; with my hubby last night and he wants me to take the morning after pill and I don't. Advise?
I'd take it. It partly depends on where you are in your cycle; if your period's due in a couple of days or you just had one, then don't bother, but otherwise if you are pregnant he may resent the baby and be less supportive as a result. If you're not, no harm done.

And the thing about the MAP is that you won't ever have to think about it again. There might, just possibly, but probably not, be a bunch of cells multiplying away in there, but that's all.

Then, use BC properly and start taking Folic Acid and generally preparing yourself to get pregnant in the fall.

BTW - not everyone reacts that badly to the MAP. I took it years ago and it didn't bother me in the slightest; no cramps, no sickness, nothing.
My advise would be not to. If it was an ';oops';, maybe there was another purpose behind that ';oops';....I don't know what your religious status is, but if you were meant to get pregnant....then you will. If it's not God's intention, then you won't be pregnant, anyways.
It is your body....your final decision. Besides there never is the perfect time to have a baby!!!!
    hey there,

having a baby is beautiful but also frustrated . especially when the finances are not there. it can get very expensive . i would get my finances together first ,so your child can have a comfortable life... don't never rush into things ! you will regret later. just make a plan talk to your husband and work things out . after all you guys are a team. and a baby is a gift from god . so it's god's timing .. god bless you .
Honey you need to sit down and have a two way conversation with your hubby not just let him tell you how it is going to be. You got 9 months to prepare for a baby, so if you actually are going to get pregnant it will be fall before its born. Plan you'r finance better like don't buy that just because and don't eat out just because and catch up on those bills faster. Good Luck.
The morning after pill is not an abortion. It prevents pregnancy in the same ways the standard birth control pill does. It just ramps up the process very quickly, thus the increased side effects. If you would not have a moral problem with the Pill, there is no issue with the MAP.

That out of the way, it is ultimately your choice to take a medication or not, but my feeling would be - if you and your husband agreed to use contreception and wait on a child, and the contreception failed, your husband is not out of line in wanting you to use a backup. If you hadn't made any clear decisions, his pressure is more unacceptable.

It sounds like there as been a massive failure of communication and planning. Hopefully pregnancy won't result this month because it will cause a huge amount of stress on your relationship if it does. If it doesn't, I'd recomend a sit down on an actual plan for children, including whether you will use emergency contreception.
Let me get this right..your married and don't have any idea of a game plan on this subject..or your game plan is different then your husbands..wow..you need to get on same page..you both need to get together and be objective on lifes choices so you can meet them without anymore ..OOPS.....OR you might just as well go to divorce court know and save the agony for any future child....
Not that long ago I was you, except my husband never suggested the morning after pill. We wanted another child but were going to wait until the summer, but instead got pregnant and now I am due any day now. The thing is you have to look at it this way: You want children together. That is it, and you know what none of us are debt free, well I know that we arn't and it will be a struggle until I go back to work. But if we did abort this child and something happened to one of us and that person wasn't there anymore how would we feel. If you are pregnant think of it and explain it to your husband that tomorrow might not come for one of you, and if there is a baby then it is a gift not a hassle. If he is still insistent on you taking the morning after pill, then you have to think about what your options are. I don't agree with the MAP or abortion, but if you truly love this man and he truly loves you he will understand how you feel. The other thing is will you really be OUT of debt in 8 months? Anyway hope all goes well, and good luck.

    Kath
God gives you things when he feels you are ready. So if you become pregnant then it was meant to be and if not then begin trying later on. But you need to sit down with your husband and discuss this whole situation with him. If he is willing to kill his own unborn child (if you do become pregnant) then is this the person that you want to have children with and grow old with? I know that these are very hard questions but in a situation like this when a man wants you to take a pill to prevent/Kill and unborn fetus that he helped make in love, then it makes me want to step back and reevaluate the whole relationship. Good Luck to you and I hope things work out for the best for you!!!!!!!!!!
Your husband sounds pretty selfish. He's partly responsible for that ';oops';. It's your body. You decide. Not him. He should have thought about not ';oopsing'; you before paying the bills. One moment of passion. I hate it the way men think, with their other heads!

    Good luck!
If your not on birth control than in my eyes its no oops. I say pay for your actions and don't take the morning after pill! Maybe your husband will use protection next time!
Why weren't you using bc? There are no oops with your husband. Take the map and tell him next to use condoms
Then your husband should not have let the ';oops'; happen.
9 months is plenty enough time to get caught up. Tell your hubby to protect himself then if he's so against getting pregnant right now. This is a form of abortion and is wrong. You can get condoms just about anywhere!
It is YOUR body..do what you feel is right! Don't let him make that decision for you. Wouldn't you want to give this possible pregnancy a chance? There is also another chance that you are not pregnant. Why would you put yourself through all the possible side-effects that the morning-after pill comes with. He should have been a little more careful last night if he didn't want you to become pregnant until later this year.
This is tough for anbody, but for me personally ... parenting is a 2 way street and I'd have to respect my husband's wishes... only when both parents are on the same page can you truely work as a unit. You may want to tell your husband though that the side effects of the morning after pill are NOT pleasant, you'll need to take 2 days off of work (so much for those bills!) you'll be cramping like mad and sick to your stomach. I had to take it once when i was 19 and i'm telling you, i'd never do it again... what are the chances that you are pregnant? Is this around your ovulation date? If it's before I doubt you'd have to worry anyway... think about it. If something hurts that bad to take, is it worth the risk of it doing damage? Did you know that if you take the morning after pill mid cycle that the failure rate is high, and because of the high dose of hormones in it.If pregnancy does occur, the use of these drugs can have significant effects on the developing embryo. Pregnancy termination may have to be considered anyway. Could you live with yourself having caused such harm to your body, your baby, and then having to have an abortion anyway? All because your husband has a few bills.... think about it.
Some people are very ignorant and believe that the morning after pill kills a implanted egg. This is far from the truth. All the morning after pill will do is prevent implantation.

Go with your heart. However, your husband could end up resenting the child if he knows that it could have been prevented.

Go to plannedparenthood.com for more information, such as truths and falses about the morning after pill, and BC, and condoms.

    Good luck.
its not like your not married...

and if he was planning on trying in the fall there isnt that much difference.

you got 9 months to pay your bills. Thats enough time and even if you still have some remaining and its that bad set up payment plans... nothing wrong with that...

you dont even know if your pregnant or not anyways. so i would ADVISE no. you dont want to so DONT!

and you should have been on birth control if you were both really worried about it. Or if you didnt want to be on that i know condoms suck but if you used one more than likley you wouldnt be in this situation.

talk to your husband if he's anything of a man he will understand its not just your fault. it took both of you!!!!

    GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!
I have seen people get divorced about stuff like this. I would just wait it out, it's too late now really, and just start wearing condoms from now on until he is ready. But it sounds like you already are.
If you don't want to take it then don't. Most babies don't come at the right time financially. See it as fate if you are pregnant!
i would just wait it out and see what happens your going to love your child either way weather its now or in the fall right? good luck

03 grand am no start need some advise?

friend has 03 grande am was running fine went to work got out of work car cranks over but no start we can get it to run with starter fluid we have correct presser at feel rail. any ideas thanks03 grand am no start need some advise?
Check for computer codes, if you dont have any then try fuel injector cleaner in the gas.03 grand am no start need some advise?
The injectors probably arent squirting. Maybe the cam sensor is out. I think the cam sensor is used to determine when the injectors fire. It may run without it in limp mode, but if it is defective it may not work at all.
do you have a CEL on? just because the pump is working does not mean that the injectors are . the computer can loose the ability to control the injectors, a dtc p0216 injection timing control circuit could cause this.
it sounds like either a spark problem or a fuel problem but if it runs with starter fluid but wont start by its self on gas its prolly a fuel issue check lines and filter check and listen to see if the fuel pump is running
maybe its a clogged injector if the fuel pressure is up to par? try cleaning you injectors. good luck

  • I am interested in starting a socio-political-philosophical periodical, and i need some advise. . .?

I feel as though i am a pretty talented writer, and I long for writing which has more meaning and more of an impact on society . . . so I decided to begin a periodical in my local community. I basically want it to include socio-political issues, including information about becoming active in ones local community, as well incite in philosophy and literature. . . really everything one could ever ask for in a periodical. . . I have a few writers willing to help but am still searching for more as well as publishing information. . .

Thanks for any incite!!I am interested in starting a socio-political-philosophical periodical, and i need some advise. . .?
You need courage to drop all irrational ideas and superstitions, to work to abolish caste system and arranged marriages and to fight for women's rights. If not you are not ready to start a socio-political magazine.

Please help.Hey guys I need some advise fast please thanks?

My ex bestriend and I both 17 got into a major argument over the phone that led to her cursing me out and insulting me being very immature. As much as I tried to regain the friendship, I am through! However, our job has a meeting today and I am really pist , how should I react, stay calm like i've been or tell her off. I am sick of being nice and being treated like ****. whats your advise? Please help.Hey guys I need some advise fast please thanks?
The best revenge against someone that has wronged you is by killing them with kindness. Your ex friend might have been upset when she said those things to you, but after a heated argument things are said that cannot be retracted no matter how many times you apologize and say sorry.

When you see her at the meeting, like the other person said, be cordial and smile. She's gonna be thinking why isn't he yelling at me.

Or another option is to write her a letter, express all of your feelings, but don't mail it. This will enable you to get all of your thoughts off your chest. Please help.Hey guys I need some advise fast please thanks?
Thanks that was a great answer.:) I really appreciate it.

Well clearly you shouldn't let her (or he you didn't say), walk all over you if she starts having a go at you. But i dont think its a good idea to confront her, as this will just lead to another argument possibly. Just play it cool, and try and stay away from her, dont ignore her though if she looks at you, acknowledge her and smile or wave, if she engages you in conversation then maybe talk to her about whats happened.

33 weeks pregnant and i need some advise please!?

how can i make myself feel flirty and sexy with this huge stomache and a ton of stretchmarks? i love this baby and i love being pregnant but i feel so ugly!!!33 weeks pregnant and i need some advise please!?
You'd be surprised how many men find pregnant women extremely sexy as you are at the height of your femininity. I do remember feeling pretty unattractive too though. If you treat yourself to some lovely maternity clothes, that'll give you a boost. Even if money is tight, get yourself something nice to wear, then ask your partner to take you out for the evening. You can then get all glammed up. You will feel a million dollars and your partner will be so proud to have you on his arm.33 weeks pregnant and i need some advise please!?
pregnancy is such a wonderful time for most mothers. however if you dont feel sexy try a few low cut shirts, show off your legs, and try to take the focus off of your growing tummy. but most of all, you should feel beautiful and special knowing that your body is producing another human inside of you. hope this helps!!!
Being pregnant doesnt take away any of your beauty. Do whatever you did before you were pregnant to make yourself feel flirty and sexy, and just forget about your huge stomache. Its not like you can just suck it in....lol

Its gunna be there for a while, you might as well flaunt it.

    XD
Get a makeover, have your hair done, get your nails done, get a pedicure, buy some new make up, use accesories, new earrings, shoes, all the things that make being a woman and a new mommy FUN and FLIRTY! Congrats on your blessing!
Wear cute prego dresses and Old navy is great for nice capris and boobie showin shirts that are still tasteful and cute.

When to use advice and advise. Is ';kindly advice'; right or ';kindly advise'; right?

When asking my boss to advice on something which sentence is right from the above? When to use advice and advise. Is ';kindly advice'; right or ';kindly advise'; right?
Advice is the noun and advise is the verb.

Kindly advise me when the widgets will be in stock.

He gave kind advice, when he recommended I buy my ticket online. It was much cheaper. When to use advice and advise. Is ';kindly advice'; right or ';kindly advise'; right?
Advice is a noun and Advise is a verb.

When you ask your boss for something to suggest a line of action to be taken by you, you may say 'Kindly advise' since advise is the action that you expect from the boss, which is that he should tell you something.

If you want to use advice, then you have to change the sentence to 'Kindly give me (or let me have) your advice'. Here you are asking for the content of what you expect from him, and so it should be the noun form that is to be used.
    The correct form is ';kindly advise.';

    Why?

Because ';advise'; is a verb, and ';advice'; is a noun. You cannot ';foot'; someone, you can kick them. It's the same concept.

Also, ';advise'; and ';advice'; are pronounced differently. [ad-vahyz] and 鈥?[ad-vahys], respectively.
    ';kindly advise'; would be correct

    advice=noun

    advise=verb
You use advise when it has been given as advice. You have advised someone..

    So Kindly advice is right.
    kindly advise would be correct.

Has anyone experience of Homesitters/pet sitters-advise please?

I am looking for a few weeks house sitting or pet sitting on the south coast, are there any 'free' house sitter web sites that you know of and recomend - my thanks for repliesHas anyone experience of Homesitters/pet sitters-advise please?
I would not use anybody who claims to be free. You get what you pay for!! In California, in-home pet care runs $35-40 per overnight. Periodic checking is about $20 a day as is taking the pets to their house. Or you can look into boarding facitities (my least favorite choice).

Good luck. It isn't easy. Now that I have 3 dogs, I am pretty much resigned to staying home.

-MMHas anyone experience of Homesitters/pet sitters-advise please?
    try Spain its much warmer
The only website i know of is the NARP one (national association of registered petsitters) not sure of the address but just type in NARP and you will get it, im not sure if they are free but they are the best agency around as they do criminal record checks etc.
i used to house sitt try getting a relative or a good neighbor to watch the house and take care of the pets and just check in on them. i would be more than happy to do it but i live in ohio. so thats not helping you. if you have a younger relative maybe they can sttay at the house till you get home
I used the services of a profession pet sitter for many years. It was a very sucessful arrangement. Try asking other locally if any of your neighbours use one. Word of mouth is the best recommendation.
I used one homesitter/pet sitter many years ago. It was a couple with a baby they were left with instructions not to let my Great Dane off the lead but they did and spent hours sitting waiting for him to come back. That was funny, they were warned. The woman wore my clothes and the baby was sick on my favourite jumper, never did get the smell out. I don't think I'd do it again, now we take the pets with us on holiday and ask a neighbour to keep an eye on the house.
I would recommend talking to your vet or friends who have animals. I work for a vet and we frequently get requests for pet sitting. The technicians are often comfortable with animals and have access to care in case any should be required. Most of the people I work with are students or just getting out of school and are usually looking for extra money. Your friends who have pets or animals are also another good resouce for who they are comfortable with or have used before. Best of luck!

    Hi

Winning back your ex boyfriend is not easy at all. It is a lot easier to generate feelings in someone, than it is to change their feelings. But if you take the right steps, and more importantly don't do the wrong things, your chances increase dramatically.

If you want to win your ex boyfriend back then these 3 simple steps should help achieve your goal:

1.The first tip is to get your head straight. You need to remove the negative thoughts. You have to stop feeling sorry for yourself. You have to be willing to be strong.

Don't let your emotion and especially depression keep you down. You can't achieve a goal, if you can't keep your emotions in check and your mind clear. Negative thoughts are destructive behavior and you need to avoid them.

2.Don't annoy your ex boyfriend. Boys just don't like it when girls become obsessive about them. Especially ex boyfriends. You may want to seek comfort by hearing his voice or seeing his face, but if you really want him back, you must back off for a while. Don't continuously him, [spin]text message him, send emails to him, or go to his place or where he hangs out just to see him. You want to give him time to realize he may have made a mistake. He may begin to actually miss you and want to get back with you. If you blow it, you may have a tougher time getting your ex boyfriend back.

3.Become an object of desire. If you can, it will be great to get some new makeup. You will also want to get some new clothes and a new hairstyle. If you've picked up a few pounds, start exercising and try to eat healthy foods. When looking good on the outside, you're going to start feeling better about yourself on the inside. If you will feel good on the inside you will be confident and happy. When you're confident and happy, others will easily see it. You will become an object of desire to men, including your ex.

These tips were helpful for me to get my ex boyfriend back. However, if you really want to get him back I will recommend to get good guide on how to get your ex back. There are many guides out there but most of them are crap (I tried too many of them...).

You can learn about one of the best and most popular guides on how to get your ex boyfriend back in this blog:

I have just found out that i'm pregnant. I have worked it out that i'm around 4 1/2 to 5 weeks. Im going to see my doctor on monday.

I was wondering if any mums have some good advise on dos and donts. Im a little concerned as it is still very early and I want to make sure that everything goes as planned.

Thank youAny advise for a first time mum?
Limit caffeine intake to 1 or 2 cups of coffee/day

    Start taking your prenatal vitamins

DON'T eat for TWO....EAT HEALTHY! During pregnancy your body only need an extra 300-400 calories/day for your baby. Choose smart and healthy things to eat.

    Most of all, enjoy!

    Congrats!

    EDIT:

How do a deal with this girl? PLEASE advise?

ive just started seeing this girl and we get on well. she drunkenly admitted to me that shes really into but likes it when i play hard to get like if i don't call her for a couple of days or ignore her texts. quite immature i know but anyway its just a bit of fun. but i do like her so what do i need to do to get her to drive her wild and get her to fall for me?How do a deal with this girl? PLEASE advise?
Everyone is like that because we all like the chase. Just make sure not to be too available and spend time with friends. Keep a healthy balance. Then maybe surprise her one night with a dirty text. How do a deal with this girl? PLEASE advise?
Ask a few questions then use the anwers to surprise her on a surprise date. Hard to get only works if the girl really wants it, most girls don't but this is difficult for me so ya...
Keep playing the game. After a few rounds of tag, go some where with her, then play the game again.

But, she might wisen up and drop you for some one else.
Hum........ I would totally ignore her for two days (Time doesn't matter) then do something BIG!!!!!!!!!!!! That will make her love you for sure :D
When no one is looking...show her your d!ck. works for me everytime. unless your tiny then your screwed.
you don't call for a couple of days seem like you trying to live a double life
candelit romantic dinner, turn on the charm

My BF has epilepsy i need some advise?

Ok i am 16 and so is my bf we have been together for five years and well he was just diagnosed with Epilepsy and i don't know what to do or anything i mean i love him and everything and we have been talking about getting married after we graduate but i don't even know how to help him when he has a sez or anything, Advise? My BF has epilepsy i need some advise?
Dont Listen to the First answer if you two have been togeather that long you are deff made for each other and you should stay and support him.My BF has epilepsy i need some advise?
There is a way to help those with epilepsy, I found out myself, for I have epilepsy. The problem is getting dr's to try something different, they can only work off of something that has been studied and they can see the results of. So while countless others go on suffering they want to see something that has results before they do anything about it. They say my own luck with it may just be that luck, so they don't want to dig any deeper than that. My only problem is that because it is related to the muscles in the neck there are way too many to try to put on the net and missing one of them could be missing the important one. But I am offering my service free to anyone who wants to try it, it's the ony way I am going to get the medical world to see what can be done with this. It is painfree but time consuming.
You should definitely stay with him and support him, you seem made for each other if you have been together 5 years and still only 16...

I am from South Africa and starting school this fall in the US. Please advise about bank/saving as a student?

Am an international student returning to school this fall and interested to know about ways to save money and/or best ways to open bank accounts and if there are ways to get interest on your savings. Thank you.I am from South Africa and starting school this fall in the US. Please advise about bank/saving as a student?
It depends on how long you are coming here for, where you are going to school, for how long, and how much money you plan to bring. If you plan to bring a large sum (over $10000)- Consider tucking some away as a CD to get faster interest and keep yourself from spending it. If you are needing to take a little to run a long time- look into the school having a federal credit union account. That may have less burden than opening an account with a big bank that often charges high fees.I am from South Africa and starting school this fall in the US. Please advise about bank/saving as a student?
Just go to the bank and tell them you want to open an account, checking or savings, or both. Savings accounts pay interest as do many checking accounts although the latter usually also charge a monthly service fee if the balance drops below a specific limit. The bank will tell you if there are restrictions on foreign nationals (you) regarding opening accounts. If you are planning on leaving some money in a savings account for some time then ask about a ';Certificate of Deposit';, or CD. (I know, this is confusing because it isn't a music CD). These are special savings arrangements and normally pay a lot better interest than a savings account. You make one deposit, generally in a specific amount, i.e. $100, $500, etc. and for a specific time usually 1 year. If you cash in (redeem) the CD before the end of that time, the CD reverts to an ordinary savings account and only the lower interest is paid.
    im the first answerer. yay. i like money, its fun. to my limited knowledge i think there are several options for a yeilding savings account. the ones i know about are similar in the rate they give you and find a bank that is offering some $$$ if you open an account with them. find as many as possible and open all of them. i really like free money. ';thats all I have to say about that';

  • Im starting high school on monday any advise?

Im starting high school on monday does anyone have any advise, thanks:)?Im starting high school on monday any advise?
try to get a map before the first day of school. know where the wings are [english wing, math hallway...ect.]

if you get the list of class rooms then map out where you are going :) so you'll know the best routes to take.

buy your basic school supplies beforehand [a binder, folder, notebook/paper,pens,pencils,backpack] before hand that way all you'll have to buy after the first day is the necessities for each class.

don't worry about being harassed by upperclassman on the first day. i was a freshman last year and nothing happened to me OR anyone i knew.

just remember: you were in middle school at one time with the juniors and sophmores (when you were in 6th grade!) and the seniors really keep to themselves. dont be nervous-highschool is a time to have fun and be with your friends!

[[there's a really good book called: SLEEPING FRESHMAN NEVER LIE by david lubar]] try it. its good :)

Im starting high school on monday any advise?
everyone hates being the young kid - the newbies but all you need to do is

    1. be yourself - you will find people that like you for who you are %26amp; starting new you will find people that dont like you

they dont matter so forget them straight away

    2. dont try and act supper cool

    3. try not to hang with the wrong crowd just to fit in

in the long run it isn't worth it

4 dont be pressured into anything you dont want to do because you want to be accepted once again

    you will regret it

    good luck :)

    you will do fine !

omggg i'm starting schoool on monday tooooo! :] but i am going ot be a sophomore,.But when I was a freshmen,i was worry about all those freshmen myth.like everyone is going to call you fish or you are going to be thrown in the trash can. From my experience,NOTHINGGGG like that happen.People are reallly nicee to freshmens, they know you are a new comer so they want to make you feel welcomee! But that is my school, hopefully your school will be the same. :D good luck and have fun on your first day! Make your freshmen year the best while it last!
Be yourself- no matter what. I know everyone says that, over and over- but they have good reason for it! First impressions are everything, so if you act all snobby and stuck up on the first day, people will stick you with that group for the rest of your highschool life, no matter how much you kick and scream about it. Oh- and don't try to flirt with someone older than you, only if they flirt back. It usually only turns into a whole disaster. Don't let your fear show- the seniors can taste it... they tend to single out the nervous bunch and mess with them until they crack. Just mind your own business, but don't be afraid to keep an eye out for new friends- in highschool, the school building itself is obviously bigger, which means that there will be more kids- so that means less chances to see your old friends from middle school or junior high. Make some more friends, and still keep your old friends- the more friends you have, the easier high school is. And try to keep a positive outlook on things- if you start to think 'Oh man, I have so much homeowork, and that kid in geometery won't flirt back, I'm such a faliure...', your attitude will start to show it. Think instead, 'This is my chance to start over, I'm older and more independent now, and the food is better...' But over all things- be yourself. If you're a funny person, let your humor shine (that sounded corny.. lol). If you like to draw, than doodle to your heart's content. Just be who you really are- that's what catches people's eyes. Good luck!! ^^
Breathe deeply, first of all. Remember that everyone you see strutting around the halls was in your position once, too, even if that's hard to believe. Find your friends, if you can, and stick together. It'll help with the anxiety.

Pay attention in the first classes and make sure you understand all the requirements and have all your materials. Your teacher might like you better for it.

I agree with answer #2. Always be yourself (as cliche as it sounds) because you'll be a lot happier and won't worry as much about how you appear.
-don't be scared! everyone notices when you are afraid.

-you are an underclassmen. a freshman at that.. stay out of the way of upperclassmen and don't be annoying. just mind your own business really. you might find a nice upperclassmen to talk to, but usually all the grades kinda dislike the freshman. nothing personal, just youngest in the school you know?

-be friendly and nice, and make some new friends. highschool is all about change. a lot of people make a whole new group of friends.

    -be open minded

-be courteous to your teachers. seriously, it helps, just suck up pretty much

    yeaah thats about it. goodluck.
hey im starting high school next week. all girls private school !!!! :( ya well mainly dont be worried and relax have funa nad be yourself. if your outgoing and fun youll make friends. dress cute for the first day in an outfit that makes you comfortable. be chill and confident. dont worry tho because everyone will be nervouse boys girls and teachers. try making new friends by being friendly. itll be fun!
    -ignore ';stupid freshman'; remarks

-actually try in school because collages see your grades

-don't start drama! its not middle school any more

-there is a good chance upperclassmen will not want to b seen if public with you even if you are friends. but some are ok with it

-be yourself, don't live a lie because it is not worth it

    -lastly, HAVE FUN!!

    hope that helps
    high school fun

your going to like it like .

there a lot more stuff you can do

homecoming football games and the dance. just don't walk in the wrong class like did lol. it OK to be late to class for the first few days. but other then that your going to do fine
Getting a good night's sleep is the best you can do. And have at least a pencil and some paper with you.
Don't talk to anyone older than you, mind your place until you are no longer the youngest
Be yourself and don't loose yourself trying to be like everyone else.

Starting a Small Business...need some quick advise?

I know this is not the best way to research, but I need to stepping stone...where and how do I start in order to begin a small carpet cleaning business? Would really like some advise and the steps I need to take to acheive this.Starting a Small Business...need some quick advise?
You need to research the best methods to use and the equipment needed to implement those methods. You will need a van to transport all the stuff in as well.

You should get in touch with some realtor's and property management companies as to what they prefer and what they need in that capacity. Hotels are also a good source of business, and so information as well. In using these sources for input you also set up a report with target customer prospects, and people do appreciate being asked to give input and so will have an interest in your business and your success, especially if they like you, and if you offer a low introductory rate as a thank you, and do a great job.

That's some great advice so use it ; ) I've seen new carpet cleaners come into the business and helped them work it this way, and it works very well. I'm a Realtor, and between myself and others I had them contact they had more business than they could handle very quickly. Usually it takes years to build that.Starting a Small Business...need some quick advise?
The Small Business Association of America is a good place to start, you can begin to start taking steps in the right direction. http://sba.gov/

Sounds like you want to start a service business, most important thing is location. Service businesses (like maids, lawn care, make-up artists etc.) can have a central location inside your home! Just look at the state zoning laws in your area.

    Good luck.

Following my last question, can any one advise me on what carbs are as I always get confused?

Ideas of what carbs are and what proteins are would help and which are better for me to lose weightFollowing my last question, can any one advise me on what carbs are as I always get confused?
    carbs is short for carbohydrates.

http://web.mit.edu/athletics/sportsmedic鈥?/a>Following my last question, can any one advise me on what carbs are as I always get confused?
Carb is short for carbohydrate. You can think of them as sugars. Glucose is a carbohydrate. Carbohydrates are used to provide energy, and are the preferential molecule for energy because they are so easy to break down. If there are too many carbs, the excess are not broken down but converted to fat and stored for longer term use.

Proteins are a bit different. Proteins are digested and broken into amino acids, which the body needs because it cannot make them itself. Protein (in the form of amino acids) is the building blocks of muscle. New muscle needs protein to grow. Protein can also be used as a source of energy.
carbs are bread , potatoes, pasta and rice, proteins are meat, cheese eggs etc, you should eat a balanced diet of both, not too many carbs, eat salads vegetables and plenty of fruit and dont forget the exercise, good luck
Carbs are things like pasta and rice and they are thought to fill you up for longer but on the Truth about food they said proteins actually keep you going for longer proteins are nuts seeds chicken fish and the quarn range is good and low fat!

best way to lose weight though is to have an every day health diet.
For easy reference, anything that comes from an animal is a protein. For example, chicken, all seafood, turkey, beef/steak, and eggs.

Carbs on the other hand come from plant sources.

Bad carbs, which spike insulin, include sugar, high fructose corn syrup, white bread, mashed potatoes, pasta, and flour.

Good carbs also come from plants but are unprocessed and take a long time for your body to break down. These include fresh/steamed veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, spinach etc), fresh fruits, old fashioned oatmeal (not instant), and beans.

Please advise/information on what to do and what will happen.................?

I have not looked after my teeth very well at all and feel that is one of my biggest regrets in life. I am only 16, my teeth are crammed into my mouth, they are not straight, and a couple are rotten. I certainly intend to go to the dentists very soon. I understand the rotten teeth will be removed, however will it be possible to have braces after to solve the angle of my teeth? or will i have to wait for the teeth to move naturally first? lastly, could i be refused by an orthodontist? Please advise/information on what to do and what will happen.................?
I would definitely consult a dentist on your options. Braces should be able to help with straightening your teeth after you've had some taken out. But definitely go see a dentist to have a full exam. They should be able to better advise you on this.

Any advise on stubborn zip on jacket...stiff and trouble doing up?

soapAny advise on stubborn zip on jacket...stiff and trouble doing up?
    Hi,

if you rub the zip with a candle the zip should then have no problems going up and down, i use this method all the time and it has worked all the time.Any advise on stubborn zip on jacket...stiff and trouble doing up?
The pencil option is the one to go with as the candle wax makes a greasy mess
get u a can of 3 in one oil that u use on hair clippers.
Rub a little soap on the zip, that should do it.
Try using a normal pencil to 'draw' up and down the zip a few times - it should loosen it.
Spray some WD40 on a cotton ball and rub both sides of the zipper. Zip and unzip to spread the oil.

Don't spray it directly on the zipper, or you will be posting another question on how to remove WD40 from a jacket.
    silicon spray
When I was in junior school, the teachers always put vaseline on it - seemed to work!
Rub the zip with a wax candle - this should make it easier... :)
yep- good old fashioned remedy- use candle -rub up and down both sides of zip and it'll work like a dream!

  • Any advise for a 22yr. old female about to start work in Office full of 30 yr old & up females for the1st time

Do's, Dont's and dress code, etcAny advise for a 22yr. old female about to start work in Office full of 30 yr old %26amp; up females for the1st time
Dress conservative, no exposed body piercing or tattoos. Keep smiling, maintain a positive attitude, even on bad days. limit negative verbal expressions. Find ways to make the job fun.

Good luck.Any advise for a 22yr. old female about to start work in Office full of 30 yr old %26amp; up females for the1st time
I wouldn't worry too much if I were you. Get to know them first and take it from there. don't allow yourself to be pulled into office politics from day one. These women are older so supposedly more mature. You'll have the usual office gossip but as I said don't get sucked in. Feel the ground first and keep comments to a minimum till you get to know them better. As for dress code keep your outfits smart and conservative. Don't go for too much jewelry or perfume. See what they are wearing to the office and follow their lead. Good luck!
Probably the best advice is to try not to get into the ';gossip ring.'; Offices like that are full of ladies just gossiping about everyone else. This can seriously get you into trouble, so just try to keep away from the big gossip queens.
Do they know your age? Don't be conscious about age and just be professional in everything. When you are employee, that is what everyone will want to look at you as. Certainly stay away from gossip, dress well (and well-covered) always be punctual and come everyday no matter what. This will help develop tremendous ';trust'; in you from other employees. Be nice to everyone no matter what.

Goodluck, you'll be great, don't worry.
Everything that was said before applies but one thing, don't let them push your buttons or allow them to have anything that would give them something to gossip about or possibly mention to the boss.

If your boss is wise then he/she understands that. The best thing is dress conservatively almost dowdy. Keep the miniskirts, short tops and spike heels for outside the office.

Keep your head down below the radar, don't get into the gossip group but try to keep your ear to the grapevine without passing gossip on or believing everything you hear.

Remember that they consider you competition in many ways so if you can give an outward appearance of not being competition for them then they will not give you too many problems.

Oh, one thing, I know of many women that get a cheap wedding ring and wear it in the office to keep the men off and women do not consider married women as competition.

If anyone specifically asks and knows you are not married then say it is a family heirloom.

Believe me there is a lot of sexual politics going on in offices and the best way is to stay out of is.
Before I answer your question let me describe my background and where my point of view is coming from. Last February, at the ripe ol' age of 22, I was given the opportunity to work in B2B sales for my mentor. I am the only one here to my knowledge without a degree. (I graduate next year!!!) The number one thing that I has led to my success here I did in the first couple months.

Stay out of negative conversations/situations. If this is your first time in an office; you may not be familiar with office politics. When someone approaches you for your opinion on a potentially negative topic be sure to stay on the fence. I do not mean do not have an opinion. Just be mindful of the fact that anything you say will more than likely be echoed throughout the organization. (Think of the telephone game that you played in school when you were little, some concept)

    I think you will be surprised however with your co-workers. A lot of my co-workers are quite playful concerning my age. They will give me a hard time cause ';I'm too young to know about this and that'; and I return the favor sayting things like, '' Did you drink your Ensure lastnight?';

***Obviously, I had to build rapport with each of them before I said things like my Ensure comment.

Try to learn everything you can from them and DO NOT EVER pretend like you are better or be short with them. Because of your age they will hold a different set of standards.

Other than that, you are very lucky to have this opportunity and I hope it works out as well for you as it has for myself!

    Best of Luck!

Any advise for buying a swing set?

I am needing to purchase a wood swing set. does anyone recommend a particular brand. I am thining of getting one at Costco but I am not sure how sturdy it will be??Any advise for buying a swing set?
I have heard great things about the costco swings sets. my husband's cousin has it. (my kids had a blast)

I bought the Walmart set and my kids love it. (clearanced at the end of the season for $70.00 instead of $400.)

Check online. It really depends how much you want to spend. You can find swing sets for as low a $200 and as high as $3500 and up.

I have heard the Costco is the best ';bang for the buck';.

    hope this helped.

    good luck

p.s. the only thing I wouldn't do is buy a metal one. my girlfriend did to save money and her kids grew out of it too fast.Any advise for buying a swing set?
    The Costco ones are good.

Unless you are VERY handy, I would pay a professional to install it.
My husband's sister has a Rainbow Play-scape and my brother has a Costco Play-scape and honestly they are pretty identical. The only advantage with purchasing a Rainbow Play-scape is because the will assemble it for you and I believe if you move they will disassemble and reassemble at your new location.

    Happy swinging!
if you get a wooden one make sure its 2x4's and not anything any thinner. We learned that the hard way
What kind is it? Is it the kind with 4x4's?

My husband and I put together a wooden fort/swingset kit that his sis and hubby bought at Sam's Club. It took us a few days to put together and it is STURDY.

Backpacking through europe? Who has done this? Any advise?

I am thinking about backpacking through Europe. There are so many places to see and go. Best place to fly into from us? What are your suggestions?Backpacking through europe? Who has done this? Any advise?
Probably the best place to fly into is London. You may be albe to get some cheaper flights to some other centres if you are on the lookout. I can give you a website that has some good options for flying within europe...( it has others but for europe its better)....you may find...you can get some cheap flights between centres and you can fly cheaper than you would by train or bus......

I agree about how overwhelming it is to actually chose where to go! I literally felt like a kid in a candy shop! It would depend on how long you are there for to be honest and how mch money you have.

I spent around 2 weeks in Italy and saw Verona, Venice ( 2 nights), Montepulciano, Rome ( 3 nights), Florence ( 3 nights) and Bologna. I can recommend all these places as well, but this gives you an estimation of the time needed...some places I was cutting it a bit fine on time due to the travel needed to get there.

Some cities need time to explore....Paris I spent 5 days easily there and could have spent longer!

I would list the countries/places that you REALLY want to see, and try and work out a fesible route.

The thing is there are places to see that you don't know about yet, for example Prague, Croatia and Slovenia were not on my list, but they rate up there as my favourite places! When I go back for more I want to go further east to places like Poland, Romania and Hungary and I enjoyed my time i nthe other places.

Accommodation will be your biggest expense so try looking in hostel websites eg www.hostels.com, www.hostelworld.com, www.hostelz.com, www.hostelbookers.com ...some places will be more expensive than others....and the time of year will also affact it. Get yourself a vague plan and then ask for more opionions.Backpacking through europe? Who has done this? Any advise?
The whole backpacking through Europe experience has changed significantly over the years, especially since 9/11, but I still highly recommend it. From the U.S., it is usually cheapest to fly into London and go from there. This is also convenient as they speak English, and it will be easier to deal with any problems. Buy a Rail Pass, and go where your heart takes you. Stay in Hostels, and meet the most amazing people you will ever know. Eat things you have never heard of, and accidentally discover things that are not on any list of tourist attractions. Get lost at least once, and accept the hospitality and kindness of strangers. Go with a friend you share your opinions and views with, but never a group, as this makes it harder to experience the local culture. Have fun, and don't sweat it if you don't see everything on your list, the Eiffel Tower will still be there when you go back again.
    I'm going this Summer

    Route is as follows

    Fly from Dublin to Amsterdam

    %26gt;Berlin

    %26gt;Prague

    %26gt;Krakow

    %26gt;Budapest

    %26gt;Sarajevo

Im thinking about a hair trasnplant , im 30 and half bald, does anyone have an advise?

kindof odd that u would loose your hair so early but i wouldn't get the transplant.Im thinking about a hair trasnplant , im 30 and half bald, does anyone have an advise?
being bald is cool... You dont have to style your hair in the morning.

consider yourself lucky.Im thinking about a hair trasnplant , im 30 and half bald, does anyone have an advise?
    Dont dooooooo itttttttt. =]

like ur hair how it is
Just shave you head bald. It's a whole lot cheaper %26amp; healthier too.

Girls love bald heads these days!!!Take the plunge!!! If you don't like the idea of shaving your head, just get the shortest haircut possible. You don't need a hair transplant

    to be handsome.
    I like natural baldness.

    I think it's sexy. ;-)

    We can see your eyes.
You're looking at some uncomfortable procedures being performed on your scalp. I takes a while to heal, and is not always successful. Even the best surgon cannot guarantee success. The result usually always shows as having been a transplant. Vanity knows no master! Only you can determine if it is worth the discomfort and the knowing glances of those who smirk when they determine that your hairline is artificial. todays, fashion fad, is the kojak bald trip, that is used by those with impared hair problems. I am fortunate, that unless I have to undergo ';cemo-';, I have to spend a lot of money to cultivate the shock of hair I have piled upon my head. I wish I didn't have to spend $20.00 every two weeks to trim what grows wild so quickly. Being frank, though, I never liked the ';bald is beautiful'; look especially, with the current ';goatee'; on the chin look that is rampant in my area.

Hey! it's your scalp, if that's what you think will improve your appearance, go for it. just remimber, each plug is a plug!
No forget it. Be proud of you and who you are not what people think you should be.

Most women don't care about it, they're more interested in your personality and perhaps your build, so work on those instead.

Perhaps look at how you dress too. If you are baldy and dress like a slob it looks woeful, but if you wear a clean, neat outfit and learn to converse, noone will notice your hair (or lack thereof).
Go for it! While you loved ones will stil love you regardless of your hair or lack there of, you will feel much better about yourself. When you feel attractive you will be confident in all areas of your life.
save ur money, go to a fancy dress shop and buy a wig then glue it on or nail it on
go to a good Doc..................get the individual transplants.the plugs look funny...........
dude, just shave it all off, forget the transplant. think of all the ladies that will want to rub your head....
if u think that u will bee lookin handsome after the implant and it would be to u a bearable expense then u can go for it
    Don't do it. Go bald.
you say your ';half bald';. is the bald half on the left side or the right?
Look at your bank balance and veture out, if okay
To me , being bald has its own dignified look. Hair transplant has too many problems to maintain, so it better to remain bald

Advise me on a western saddle please?

I'm thinking of getting one but live in the Uk where advice is limited. I will use it for trail riding, and you might say, well, get a trail saddle, but I can't bear english general purpose saddles and I ride and have competed endurance in a dressage saddle because I ride long and I like the deep seat and leg position. English GP saddles are a compromise and not one thing or another, but are Western trail saddles designed especially for trail riding or for a 'bit of every job' like english GP? If I prefer english dressage saddles would I maybe prefer another western saddle to a trail saddle? And also I am looking for a treeless, can anyone recommend a brand? thanks. Sorry if this sounds a bit confused, I am confused.Advise me on a western saddle please?
If you like dressage saddles I would definitely look into a barrel saddle. They have a high cantle and deep seat much like a dressage saddle does.

There are also all-purpose and trail saddles.

I've heard a lot of good things about Bob Marshall Treeless Saddles: http://treelesssaddle.com/Advise me on a western saddle please?
oooooooo!!! get a barrel saddle! their really light!! so that much easier to put on ur horse!
I would try a barrel saddle with semi qh bars - that has the deepest seat of the western styles. The Flex Tree is something I stand by - I've never used a treeless but I have found that the Flex Tree has the same benefits with a smaller price tag.
I have a Bob Marshall treeless saddle and I love it %26amp; so does my horse. My girlfriend also used to ride in an outback saddle which seems like it may be a good compromise for you as well. If you know of anyone who has a treeless for you to borrow, you may want to give it a try. They are very comfortable for you %26amp; the horse %26amp; fit just about any type of conformation. They make them with and without saddle horns as well if that is a deterrent for you. They can be expensive, but you can get them used. b/c there is no tree the saddle seat sizing is a little different. Mine is a 14 1/2 %26amp; I ride in a 15 1/2 in a treed saddle. hope this helps!
In your position I would look at an Australian stock saddle.

These are much lighter than western and allow a very deep seat.

I used to use an ancient Barnsby military saddle for endurance and there are some modern endurance saddles that would probably suit your style of riding.

I've never used a treeless as they only suit lighter weight riders but googling ';treeless saddle review UK'; will bring up lots of links.
I like good ol western star saddles, with the shorter saddle horn! Make sure that it fits your butt comfortably and isn't to hard! A hard saddle ruins any trail ride! Also, Leather straps are sturdier than the nylon ones, nylon could break easier and you might be in for a ride with no gurt for your saddle lol
I agree with ';sue,'; an Australian saddle sounds like what you'd be interested in.
you could try a circle Y flex tree. trail saddle. good luck
Is there any way you can haul your horse to a saddle retail place and try the saddles on him there?
maybe look for a bareback pad instead. i have a Parelli bareback pad and i use it all the time. I may be exspensive but your pants stick to it like velcro and you wont fall off.just dont buy a cheap one becausethey will fall apart!

go to Parelli.com and go check them out.

How do we find someone to advise my 16 year old daughter on how to lose weight?

Too much emphasis is put on young women to be thin. Have her doctor evaluate her to determine if she really needs to lose weight or if it's your perception.

Weight issues at that age, especially negative ones, will be with her for life, so be SURE it's something truly necessary and not just YOUR harsh judgement.

Her doctor would be the best person to advise on her overall health and the best programs, IF necessary. How do we find someone to advise my 16 year old daughter on how to lose weight?
As a person who has battled weight all her life, I suggest first off you be supportive and non-judgmental. Second, make sure SHE wants to lose the weight. Then try talking to her gently to see if there is some emotional reason she is overeating. If not, see a doctor to determine if it is a physical issue. It is a lot easier to take the weight off at a young age, as it gets harder as you get older. My best advise is exercise . . . . she will find she can still enjoy some of the treats she normally eats (in moderation). Make sure she has plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables (DO NOT stock the house with tempting treats, cookies, chips, etc), lean meats and try portion control - limit what she has at all her meals that you serve or she eats in your presence. I wish her the best of luck . . . . it is worth it. Once she starts losing the weight, she will feel more confident and that is key. Encourage her daily and let her know you love her. Let her know that I've found out that it is true, nothing tastes as good as being thin feels! How do we find someone to advise my 16 year old daughter on how to lose weight?
Look for a nutritionist. Have your doctor recommend one.
Drink lots of water %26amp; run at least 2miles a day to start off with...

AND no Eatin anything after 7 pm.. your body doesnt need that food, cause your metabolism starts to slow down from 7.
don't find anyone...eat healthy ..run a bit....and tell her she will grow out of it...we all have baby fat...when I was a teen I was fat and lost weight naturally
Maybe her PE teacher could angle it more twds a ';healthier style of life'; aspect and see if any sports or other activities might intrest her in getting her heart pumping.
When you're 16 it's dead easy to lose weight because your Metabolism is still young and un-harmed, as long as you drink lots of water, excercise moderately at least 40 minutes 5 times a week and eat healthily (cutting out all fatty, sugary and high GI foods, includin soft drinks.)

She's too young to be on a 'diet', or have a persnal trainer, just eat healthy and excercise!
the person who should talk to her is her parents ,children copy what they see in the home,so if mom%26amp;dad are fat sloppy pigs she will be too,you guys are the ones who buy the food ,so put back the dounuts and cornchips and pick up the carrot sticks and tofu!
DO NOT TALK TO HER ABOUT DIETING! She needs to EXERCISE- that is the most important thing!!!! Remember, diet does not change the body's chemistry- the only thing that does that is exercise. BUY HER THE BOOK ';SMART EXERCISE'; by Covert Bailey. Very easy to read, fun and down to Earth understanding about getting in better shape. You can get it at the library!!!!!
Take her to the doctor, they could set up a sensible diet for her, plus a sensible exercise plan.
Talk to her doctor and/or find a local nutritionist. Her doctor can recommend healthy ways to lose weight and can probably refer you to a good nutritionist who will be able to teach your daughter how to eat healthy and lose weight.
well i know a guy that told his daughter that she was fat and now she is unhealthily skinny. dont worry about it unless she is getting no exercise and/or is having trouble climbing steps
You advise her. It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. The way you have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) replacing hunger and infectious disease. So you are a victim of this pandemic (epidemic). You need to re-learn how to eat.

Find out about fastest way to lose weight, slow ways to lose weight, most effective exercise and anti-water. Lose bodyfat and retained water which also makes you a lot fatter (bloated). Learn everything on site below. Do this and you can be thin. Do this not, and you will remain part of the biggest pandemic in all of history. Plus click on ';Pure Water'; to make sure the water you drink doesn't hurt you.

well did u take to the doctor
Give her Stholyanatak Churan for weight loss, get her chek for hormonal disturbance in body, visit www.planetayurveda.com for free ayurvedic consultation. Write to drvikramchauhan@yahoo.com
Whatever else you do you should see a good family doctor first and consult him or her before doing anything.

Excessive weight is a medical condition that requires a medical treatment. There are many ways to lose weight. The doctor may recommend a dietician.

It is also possible your daughter may not really have a weight problem. Some teenage girls go through a ';chunky'; stage which is absolutely normal and will go away as they get older. Again, your doctor is the best person to advise you and her in this matter.
by looking for someone to do it
First, take a look at what kind of foods are in your own refrigerator. Are you buying healthy foods or lots of snacks. She will learn to eat better, if you are eating the same things at home.

Kids don't get enough exercise these days. Computers and TV have taken the exercise out of their lives.

I would suggest that you all start taking some exercise classes together. Make it a family thing. Get some bikes and take nice bike rides. Go for walks. It doesn't cost much. Don't rely on others to do it for you. You are the one that is concerned, get involved with her, together. It will bring you closer and she will learn from you, what is good for her. You may just lose some yourself too.
Try not to go to slimming centres. How about finding a doctor? Or how about using Google and find reputable sites to go to check the answer?

Can someone give me info and advise on ipods and mp3 players?

i am looking to buy a music system for my house and would like to be able to get songs online to play on it!!

I dont really know anything about them so any info on whats the best one to buy ect would be great.

thanksCan someone give me info and advise on ipods and mp3 players?
You can get any home music system but just make sure it supports CD, CD-R, CD-RW, and MP3 (on CD-R) formats. That way you can burn all your songs that you download online (MP3 Format) onto CD-R which the system will play.

So you can play all your normal CDs as well as burnt or copied CDs and you've also got the normal functions such as radio or tape if you opt for those. Have a look round online, there are loads to choose from but as long as they support CD-R or MP3 they should be ok for playing downloaded music. Can someone give me info and advise on ipods and mp3 players?
if you buy an ipod u also have to pay a dollar a song. with other mp3 players, you can download them either by paying for the song or a sharing website like limewire.com
a really easy way is to buy a cd player with the mp3 feature on it! all you do is burn the mp3 files to a cd and put it in the cd tray and press play! ipod and others are little more complicated! ipod you got to install software, install the player, download the songs, transfer them, etc...
If you want convenience, but you aren't bothered about sound quality, then they are the way to go.

If you actually want to sit and enjoy listening to music, then the horrid, squawky sound made by ANY iPod or mp3 player will have you hitting the 'Off' button in no time!

I have an ipod and I love it. You can download from itunes all the time and it's only 79p per song.

However, there are mp3 players that give you sites where you can download music for free.
Ipods are not worth the price. It is tied to itunes which downloads music that can only be played on an ipod. The batteries can't easily be replaced and there is no built in radio.

There are MP3 players that cost much less and are easier to use. The thing to look for is the following. Can it be used without any special software? Is there a way for it to play protected music. (Special software is probably required for this feature. Probably WMP.) It there a radio build in. Can it record voice.

There are actually MP3 players that cost under $20 that will hold 30-40 songs (128 mb). I just got one free for going to an auto dealer.
Ive had a few mp3s/mp4/ipods i personally think apple ipods the best but get one with 1gb or more to hold enough songs about 240 or more Ive now got a ipod shuffle cos i don't need a screen cos they are to small to see when your driving and the battery lasts alot longer
my advice is buy mp3 player, they r cheaper and easy to use. ipods have so many problems with the player itself and the software.
