I am thinking of starting a florist business , can any one advise on start up grants in the U.K.?

I am at this moment on J.S.A. could anyone help. thanksI am thinking of starting a florist business , can any one advise on start up grants in the U.K.?
Think about this very carefully. Many start-up florists don't make it to one year. You have to have the exactly right location and minimal overheads.

A street pitch in a busy location would ensure a good turnover without long term liabilities.I am thinking of starting a florist business , can any one advise on start up grants in the U.K.?
have you spoken to your jobcentre adviser about going self-employed. some jobcentres offer schemes, business planning courses and funding to get people into self-employment and off benefits. and if they don't seem helpful then ask if you can use some ADF (adviser discretion fund - a pot of money of 拢100 per person for interview clothes etc)

and don't forget that you may be entitled to tax credits to boost your income whilst you start up your business.

also seek advice from your nearest business link, find your local one here http://www.businesslink.gov.uk/bdotg/act鈥?/a>

you may also want to consider a business planning course which could help with funding - you may have to pay for some of this yourself but it could be well worth it if it gets you into business, try this course which you can study from home with full tutor support http://www.rebecca-swift.co.uk/courses.a鈥?/a>

also, if you are aged under 30 the princes trust provide financial help with getting people in a disadvantaged position to set up in business http://www.princes-trust.org.uk/Main%20S鈥?/a>

best wishes for your venture
If your on jsa ask your advisor and they will point you into the direction of inbiz they will train you while still on benefits and give you page after page of possible grant givers.

I went through inbiz when i was wanting to go into business for myself they were great(depends on personal preference though), they also gave me incentive to make the business work, i must admit i made a nice profit through there help.

Also princes trust is good if your in the right age range but they are strict on who they will give money too, if they think it won't work they say no, they also expect you to have a business plan and what you think your estimated annual intake will be, they refused me when I aproached them but I prove them wrong! That was incentive enough!

Hope you get more help from princes trust then me if you choose to approach them, and goodluck with your new business!
Get the advice from the persons who are esperinced in that
Dependant on your age,you could try The Princes Trust. They give grants to new ventures.
