The first answer seems to be right. But also you've not mentioned how old they are. If they are very young, is it best to leave them and get used to their environment and so they will become confident of their surroundings.
Of course, do provide lots of love such as giving treats, brushing them. That way you are handling with them, the more you do the more they will get used to it and used to you.
What I would do, is to put their favourite treats near you, and that way to encourage them to come over and not to be afraid of you however you do have to be extremly patience.
Also, I know this may sound weird, but actually it isn't, it is the best way for them to get used to your smell therefore they know who you are, by putting your used socks in their hutch/cage.

They are probably nervous around you. Maybe in your attempts to love them you have been a bit to much for them to handel. Give them some breathing space for a while.
