well u can use powerpix. actually i have tried it and its fantastic.acoording to me powerpix is the only fastest album designing software.so i am sending u a link....u can check it by yourself.

I don't know if you have heard about the photobooks from indigo, You create the album and they print it for you.
Use photoshop or fireworks to create your page layouts.
