Please advise route fm Bangalore to Kodaikanal?

which route should i take? what is the distance?how is the road for driving by car?what is the time i will take for the journey? i will be grateful for a honest answerPlease advise route fm Bangalore to Kodaikanal?

the distance from bangalore to kodai is not long.if u plan to go by road it will take you about 5-6 hrs.the road is pretty good,smooth and safe as well.


last year i myself went to kodai by road.the journey is pretty good if u carry cushion or pillows and block the sun from the windows.


i advise leaving early in the morning at about 7 am, stop for breakfast at reliance petrol pump or any road side restaurant and this way u can actually reach kodai by 1 pm.once u enter the hills it is damn pleasant.this way u can avoid the traffic rush as well as intense heat at mid noon plus u can get to see a little of kodai on the very same day.
there is a train which goes from bangalore to the station kodai road, from where the actual hilstation is at a driving distance of 2 hrs.
